Ann lived many years in the Houston Area. She taught in the medical lab program. She worked at Ben Taub Hospital. Her love was parisitology and she gave many lectures at State Society meetings and at National AMT meetings.
Ann served as the TxSSAMT Secretary in the early 1970's. Ann received the Distinguished Achievement Award in 1969 and the Exceptional Merit Award in 1974. She loved sharing her knowledge.
Ann and her husband Ben had one son, Rick. One of the outstanding things that is remembered is the fact that Ben always drove her to the meetings where she lectured. The state meetings were always a one day trip for them, leaving early in the morning and returning at nightfall. Her hair style was always pulled to the top of her head with pencil curls pinned neatly across.
